How Does It Work?
We believe simplicity is key to success. So we kept it simple.
The Badass Beat Boards™ toolkit provides everything you need, and then some. All in a simple, yet comprehensive toolkit for planning and outlining your screenplay. We’re screenwriters, just like you. We developed the Badass Beat Boards™ outlining system because we ourselves wanted a visual aid for the pre-writing phase of drafting a screenplay, separate from the actual writing part. We consulted industry professionals, educators, and writers and spent a year developing and testing prototypes.
There’s no cookie-cutter formula to writing good stories. This isn’t a paint-by-numbers solution by any stretch of the imagination. The kit provides only the tools you need to create your own story blueprint, so you can break your script into digestible chunks, then get on with the main task: Writing your screenplay.
When you’re ready to write, you can concentrate on crafting brilliant dialogue, perfecting lean action blocks, and masterminding the delivery of your third act twist. You won’t give more than a passing thought to structure, because you’ll already have an accurate map that will guide you smoothly to your finish line.
